first up i tried the search engine for this

the smartlock wont work on my ED fairmont, the light works when pressed but nothing happens, i was wondering if it was a fuse and where bouts is the fuse???

If it's a fuse its the one for your interior lights.

Or the BEM has 'forgotten' your keyfob. Retrain it. Check the doco area.
