i was just pulling the center console of my ED to see if it had the power window loom and found some "speed control unit".
i was wanting to know if some one could answer a couple of questions for me.

A. WTF does it do?
B. Does if have anything to do with gear box?
C. If "yes" to B. would it course my gear box to stuff up?

Does your ED have Cruise Control? My best guess is that it has something to do with Cruise Control.
