Yeah I just meant in resale value. I would think most still go well if they are looked after even if they have over 200,000 kms on then like yours.

BTW: she must have some sore boobies by now as she has been bouncing them all day & night for many many weeks...

With the car completely off, press in the tripmeter reset button and hold it in. Then turn the ignition key to ON. Don't turn all the way to START, just to ON. After a few seconds you should hear a beep or 3 and the spanner should disappear.

To remove the service spanner on a AU is very similar to removing the spanner on a EF EL falcon.I dont know exactly how the prcedure goes but have the ignition turned off and at the same time turn the ignition on and depress the trip button and then release as soon as the dash lights up or something.I do reset them at work but dont really remember what sequence. But you dont have use a special so called tool to remove it.Really AU ones are a real pain to reset.Thats why most people trade them in when they come on.LOL.No just have a play round with it,just remember its a very similar procedure to the ef el reseting.

On my brothers AU ute I just held in the trip reset button then turned the key to on and it went away just like the EF/ELs do.

according to my ford manual " To reset the indicator, turn the ignition to on ( engine not running ) then press and hold the tripmeter reset shaft for approximately 10 seconds OR until the instrument cluster BEEPS!!! hope this clears the matter up for you all
