My electric windows in my 2005 BF mk1 have never been great. But when they are going up they are far too slow for my liking, which is much slower than standard. When they get to half way up they seem to slow down even more for a few seconds then speed back up to the normal (slow) speed they start at. Does anyone have any quick fixes for this? Or am i looking at new window regulators?

try spraying some silicon spray into the window runners, then run your windows up and down a few times.

no. basically the rubber channel where the window slides up and down in. the idea is to use the silicon spray to reduce the friction providing ease of movement.
