Im thinking of buying Sports pedals for my XR6, and i was just wondering what people think about this idea?

Most likely i will be getting the momo or sparco ones (legal ones) which cost about $150 i think they look nice but its always good to hear some different opinions. :P

Cheers.

is there any practical uses behind this?

ie - you're current pedals are worn out?

also, you should get waht you like, not waht others like, you are the one that owns the car, ifd tehy don't like them, they won't buy them lol...

Im not a personal liker of those pedals... buts its your call.

I just thought i would get them for something different, i mean they looked good in my XF as it made the interior a little bit nicer so i thought why not.

It may not be practical but it still looks nice

Im not biased toward ne ones opinions so thats why i thought i would ask.

Yeah, they are made to lighten up the interior, but they are all the way down the bottom, money better spent on something more visible maybe?
Woodgrain maybe? blue LED dash?

Yeah woodgrain would be nice, but i dont really know if that would suit the current interior.

Im trying to get EL Ghia seats for my XR but im having trouble finding some that are in good nic and are not that mocca foam colour. (was hoping for a greyish colour).

But ne way that was my other option isted of pedals, but thats quite a bit more expensive too.LOL. :P

I like my stock black/grey pedals - they hide away nicely in the shadows. I don't want them sticking out like a sore thumb.

Well i like having the sports look, i mean its better than having these wierd looking skinny grey things for pedals. The Momo 'Challenger' ones look the best IMO if you want to know the ones i im talking about visit this site www.cartoys.com.au.

They only cost $85 for these ones and i think they looks sweet as.

They look s**t, real rice boy crap, so it would add weight, therefore RICE, RICE, RICE, might as well get a NISMO sticker while your there.

I rekon sports pedals are fine.

The lighten up the interior and IMO they felt beta than my old set of EA manual pedals.

Cheers

Got pulled over three times in my XF and everytime they picked on my steering wheel and pedals and told me that they were all illegal :x

Ne way i didnt really care about that cause i never took them off.

They're illegal?>?? is there a reason for that? the car becomes too powerful, cos the chrome ones add 100HP?

strange

Most are illegal as they dont have rubber/dont have enough rubber on them.

The ones on the XF were but not the ones im looking at thou atm. They were illegal as they do not have sufficent grip on the pedals or so they said.

I never had ne problems with them thou....

P.S. no ricer remarks either. Its not the chrome ones that add 100hp its the carbon fibre ones your thinking of lol. :P
