Could there be a way you can mount them properly with some screws or something. sticking it down with something doesnt seem to be a good idea in my opinion. although velcro is not a bad idea.

Just though you could some how drill some holes in the door silld and mount it properly.

if it iis possible, any chance of posting some pics for us champ, wouldnt mind havbing a good look at them too see how good they look. Are they good quality? and are they actually made out of stainless and how thick are they?

Lots of questions, i know, but i wanna get some, and just wanna make sure they are of good quality before i buy.

cheers

Ben

god damn i want some of these. Aaron had some the other day, but was toolate they went in a jiffy. nice and cheap too.

You got a link to the scuff plates if they were from a business or if u know they had more than one set?
'i'd be to blame for buying them too quickly... they do look great and the double sided tape on the ones aaron sold i had no problem with.... mayby try de-greaser to get the fine film of invisible hand oil off the plastic sills as this hinders the double sided tape from making good contact... worked for me...

yeah they stick onto the original plastic ones. do crash repair shops use some sort of industrial double sidded tape for holding on the plastic trims on doors or is that glue?

Crash shops, wreckers and mechanics have this double sided tape that can be used for anything. Its about 10mm wide and i know on the falcons they use 2 strips of the s**t to hold those black outside door trims on.

Absolutely no reason you can't drill a hole in them to screw them in the location.

ive got these sills on my car, they look awesome, but may sit up that fraction too much... so i might take them off one day, drill holes through the chrome sills in the same place as the holes for the plastic ones are, and screw them down... means i can take them off to re-run wiring or anything :)

All in all, they definately make the falcon look a lot cleaner!

Ive got them too and thought about screwing them in, but it will probably look s**t without the right screw. I reckon something like a quality hex head screw may look ok.
