If a car comes from the factory fitted with a steering wheel airbag, this airbad must be kept inplace and in working order for it to remain legal.
Fitting an aftermarket steeringwheel without an airbag where there once was is highly illegal and cops will get pretty nasty about it from what ive heard. :?

And you don't have to worry about paying extra for Boss Kits.

those momo AU ones would look good in blue/black leather. Then buy the airbag cover from an AU in black. Would look good.

Does anyone know what the coloured parts of the wheel are made of (blue/red/silver bit)? looks like its metal or something.

Think I'd rather the MOMO wheels but the black would look funny with the grey airbag cover off an EL wheel.

Anyone got pics of an AU MOMO wheel in an EL with the grey airbag cover?

You can get a AU grey/black momo wheel which will match your EL grey interior and airbag just nicely. The black is not a shiney black but more of a mat black and the grey's are almost spot on. Looks really nice. Check out my gallery if you like. The grey on the momo wheel comes up a little lighter in the photo, but I asure you it matches well.

if you need to get a roadworthy on the car (eg you are selling it), the car would be considered unroadworthy. The airbag is standard equipment.
