hey guys,
i have a series 2 xr6 dash cluster with around the same kms as my car actually has, and was wondering whats involved to make it work?
I want to put it into a series 2 SR.
I don't care if the oil reading doesn't work, but mostly odometer, battery, fuel and speedo work.
is there much involved?
if there is cutting/soldering etc i'm just going to sell it as i only wanted it cause it looks better haha

i've looked at that through and through, but it seems to only be ablout series 1 swaps, and doesn't mention swapping series 2 sr for series 2 xr so i'm not sure if the wires to swap would be the same, or if it's different

Series II into series II/III should swap straight in.

Oil gauge in series II/III don't work anyway, they operate off a switch only sender and are basicly a fancy idiot light, gauge will go the roughly the middle and sit there, it won't move at all unless the oil pressure fails and then it will drop and the idiot light will come on.

thanks mate,
yeah i think i'll just throw it in and turn it on to see what works and what doesn't. aslong as the lighting, and speedo and odometer work, i'm not too fussed really
