I am almost finished off a slight dash mod, and the last and final thing i have to do is somehow tape up the buttons for a trip computer in an EL monty. Is there any slightly easy way of doing it? Somebody suggested, very carefully putting vaseline on the buttons and anything that i dont want sprayed. Would this be the easiest option, before i lose my temper, and try to tape them up?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheap s**t stuff from Supercheap...nothing special...just gave it all a good wash beforehand with metho, then soapy hot water...no primer or clear coats...
