Hans is correct.
if the seat covers are tight, then they are tight accross the front and look flat.
if they loosen up once used a bit then they might sit into the 'bucket' of the seat but still won't be a true fit.

to get the seats looking their best, you ideally need to replicate the setup of the factory seats.
all the expensive retrims are done that way.

There's the keyword!

Cheapest quote I got to have my seats and door trims re-trimmed in cloth what $2200. And $3000 for leather.

I did my entire interior, carpet, painting, seat covers and doors for under $1k.

I'm happy with the seats but when put along side a proper re-trimmed, re-bolstered seat, they don't look as good.

So I see what you're saying... now

there is a fix for it,if you have the stock covers, note the wire positions, get some calico-about i mtr and sew the pockets on to your new covers, most house hold sewing machines will do it,i use 2 to retrim my seats-cloth,calico and 12mm foam x 2 and use upholstry cottons, then use the lock rings to fix them--or as a guy said cable ties, its all time spent and that costs $$$$$$$$$$$$$$,best is to do one at a time and you will get great results.

Only just saw this thread.

I've got these and have had them now for about a year with no problems at all.

They look the part and are surprisingly more comfortable.

Here's pics straight after I fitted them so my interior is dirty as...

What is included with the seat covers for the doors, just the small blue part?

All they send you is a sheet of blue vinyl. Enough material to trim the doors...

You've got to trim the doors yourself.
