anyone know where and how much I can get a torx bit to remove the seats?

thats it. all repco stores should stock em. there actually made by sidchrome and rebadged as repco.

You can get a set of them from supercheap for not too much, quality wise they are fine, ive used them for seats, stereos, door trims, door locks and latches etc.

A complete set is worth it rather than just one....

Ha ha THe day I wanted to take me Seat out to repair it I ended up using an Allen key instead as I went to go and buy one of those T50 Torx keys and every bloody Store I went to had either none in stock or had sold out of them. It took a bit of time, but eventually got me seat out :lol:

just use a big allen key ,thats what i used when i didnt have the bit for it

we've got the kits at Autopro for about $80 . Theyre Kinchrome ones....i just used an allen key as EDMONTY & 1 SLY 97EL said....

exactly wat i aws thinking...i work there so i couldve got them heaps cheaper for myself but i opted to use allen keys

man, urs come from s**t autos....enough said....All their s**t made in china, and the warranty expires as soon as u leave the shop...These things come with lifetime warranty..

I found a T45 bit had enough bite to remove out the T50 screw in the steering wheel. I haven't tried the seats.

Repco have the Torx kits for a 1/4 inch drive socket for $47, thats what i paid on saturday. to put my doors and interior peices together.

definately - I got a good quality set with about 24 pieces and it has been used heaps of times!!!
