Does anybody know the size of the Torx bit required to remove the seats from my NC. I have two sets here, but they only go to T40 and is too small. I'm assuming I can get them from SuperCheap?
Any help appreciated, i'm fitting my front DC leathers today hopefully. Cheers, Mick

I found Super Cheap only had sets up to T40
you will find more expensive sets that go up to T50 at Repco, Auto1 etc. I paid $40 for a Kingchrome set |

A T45 will get the job done, but you'll probably ruin the bit after the job.
T50's seem to be hard to find, except in expensive sets. I've got a Jaycar security bit set, that goes up to a T45, it worked for changing steering wheels. I've also got a Kingchrome set that goes to T55, not cheap, but is a full socket set too.

I still question though, why they used torx screws and security code on the radios in the ef etc. like whose going to steal a cheap tapedeck.

Thanks fella's,
It is indeed a T50. I went to supercheap first.......nothing over T40 Then went to Bunnings...........nothing over T45 (and that bit was in a $99 superbit set) Finally, I called into a local tool specialist, Gasweld at Warners Bay. They had a T50, but in a set called Toolex Industrial Mechanics Bit Set. Cost me $69, But has every Torx bit i'm ever gunna need in two length's, 30mm & 75mm. Wasn't planning on spending that much, but i'm sure the kit will be well used But the main thing is I finaaly found one and the new seats are now in. Cheers, Mick

crikey.
I got both my old set from Supercrap for about $20 15 years ago. I had to get the new set as the cheap ones were bending and missing some step sizes. I got the Kingchrome set for $35 at Bunnings and they fit better.
