I went to the wrecker and got a loom and put the connectors in the loom for the EF GLi and did all the connections. When i turn on and dimm the lights that all works fine BUT when i turn the key the dash cluster (i think) makes this beeping sound and the car wont start and trip computer wont work.
I could be bothered working on it so i cut the data wire and the beeping stoped and car started.

Is there anything else i have to do. I checked everything to the doco and its all correct. I did trouble shooting and thats ok. But it beeps.

Im sure u dont have to do anything to the BEM to make it work.

Any one know what the hell is going on???

are you sure you connected the correct data wire?
Im querying because there is no data wire on GLi's/Futura's you have to add it,

Secondly does the TC 'wake' up?
If there is an error in the data wire the TC wont turn on at all.

I'd double check all wiring and solder connections!
