Just was wondering with a dual duel set up on my EF XR6, which reading does the trip computer read for Distance to Empty
a) Petrol b) Combination of LPG + Petrol c) Whichever fuel is currently running Im guessing its only petrol but the other day i put some gas in and the DTE kept rising instead of staying constant, and also when running on gas the DTE decreases Km's .. so im not too sure! Cheers

depends it gets it from the dash so if ure on gas and you can see how much gas u have left by looking at the fuel guage it should be both. so yeah basically it takes it from whatever the instrument cluster is reading

Bear in mind that all the trip computer knows and sees basically is injector pulse width and fuel level - it doesn't differentiate which fuel is being used. With LPG of course the injectors are disabled, but the trip computer still sees this input. Since you'll use more LPG than Petrol in conventional LPG systems (non LPG injection)you'll still find your trip computer readings for LPG will still be reasonably accurate, but not as accurate as petrol (that's what I've found anyway).
The trip computer will not show any LPG info on Tickford LPG systems, as the injectors are disabled directly by the ECU. When switching fuels while the engine is running, it takes a while for the readings to change over. Anyway, enough blurb from me . . . . .

put at least a quarter tank of petrol in it and secondly it may take a while for it to show above '0' kms eg at least 100 or 200kms of driving around
