the beeping should go away when u have the car turned on

its justa warning to tell you that u have left your lights on after the car is turned off

Yeah and um yeah if you have the lights on and you turn in ignition off yeah, the trip computer beeps and you to tell you your lights are still on, yeah?

Yeah also I am assuming that it beeps at you when you turn your car off and not when you just turn the lights on yeah?

That is right - only beep when you switch the engine off with the lights on, the t.c. beeps.

The t.c beeps when you start the car and then switch the lights on as this is a "bulb out" feature.

Its only on the NF and NL Fairlanes (I think?)

could be low coolent sensor. Mine beeps at me all the time and throws a red light up at me on the cluster. (because the sensor is faulty)

Do any warning lights come on your cluster??

i will try and explain it better and add more information. i put it in reading the instructions on the tech documents page and wired it i have a low insturment cluste in the EA and i wired it up running all the wires etc except the one that would go to the high instument cluster that controls the dimming feature

any way the TC is always on??? is this normal. the INST L/100Km says 99, AVGE L/100Km says 99.9, AVGE Km/h says 0, and the RANGE Km says 0 and beeps until i press reset then still beeps (my petrol guage is sitting below empty :P)

When i turn the lights on it beeps constantly until i press reset and when the lights go on the display dissappears but when the parkers are on the display appears, any thing should i do like move the brown wire or any other wire like ithought it would be on only with the accessories etc but it is on all the time and yeah that is my problem

You can use the dimmer from the stereo. The reason its beeping is because of your low fuel. If its less than 10L it will beep.

Not sure why its always on (the clock part of it should always be on - you're not talking about this though?) Maybe you wired it to constant, rather than IGN
