not range to empty but i think the consumption is right, range to empty is based on how much fuel is in the tank. U might b able to set it up if u r good enough at electronic stuff

You will get all the petrol features if your gauge for the gas is wired to the cluster gauge and not the gas kit one.

i find the range to be so ridiculously inaccurate anyway, on both my EL ghia and my ED fairy

If you get a new sender for the tank and get it wired via a change over relay to the gauge all should be good.

My Instant economy, Avg economy, Avg speed are all fairly accurate when running on LPG, but the range to empty reads on what's in the petrol tank, as i have a seperate lpg gauge mounted down near the console.

By fairly accurate, it's usually within 1ltr / 100kms on the Avg economy, worked out by the trip distance & how much fuel i pump back into the tank. I'm running a Parnell SVI Lpg Injection setup, with a seperate ECU for the lpg injectors.

Cheers

ToranaGuy

Check your existing LPG sender is compatible - check the guage on the tank - should have the range (in ohms)on the bottom of the dial.
Then compare with the petrol sender resistance range.

I had an EF Fairmont with Tickford Gas & the Trip Computer didn't work for the Distance to Empty..

On the gas setting it wouldn't - the injectors are disabled through the LPG ECU, hence no pulse duration info for the trip computer. On petrol it should be as per a std petrol ECU.

mine works fine for everything, although i was told that its not accurate as the density of gas is different to the density of fuel therefore 1L og gas doesnt equaly 1L of fuel or something??
