Ok mine on my EL has all of a sudden started showing 0 klms to empty even thou I have a 1/2 full tank. How do I fix this problem. I have reset the average klms and average fuel use but same deal. It startled the crap out of me this morning by beeping at me

Any help would be great

disconnect the battery, leave it for an hour, and re-connect. This will reset the ECU, and reset the DTE to 500km. It will then start accumulating and calculating data from that point.

NOTE if you reset the Ave L/100km on the trip computer, this does NOT affect the DTE's calculation. The DTE is determined from accumulated data and cannot be reset without disconnecting the battery, (unless there is a pin you can gap to reset it??? anyone?)

Or disocnnecting the trip computer from the data line to the cluster

Mines pretty accurate, took my old NA Fairlane computer down to 19. One time I did 680 kms on the highway and had 25 left on the "Range" as the fuel gauge was buried in the red section.

NL fairlane is pretty good as well, best touring range was 750 kms. Ran the "Range" down to 20.
