ok i read on here on a while ago that a AU centre console can fit in a
ED is that correct or am i just reading stuff wrong, and what and a el/ef (wagon btw)can fit straight into the interior of ED's as one just got written offf and i can get what i want outa it,thank you for ur help

AU console do fit into ED if you keep the ED dash. EL dash will also fit into ED but you will need to swap a lot of stuff like dash looms. But the dash should bolt straight in. If you want the EL dash you will need to use the EL console not an AU one

short answer is yes, but if you have cruise control or power windows you will have to relocate the power window switch and the cruise control ECU

mmmk i wont be putting the centre console in then, what about the door trims will they fit with minor adjustments

yeah AU's have the window switch on the door trims

thanx for your help, looks like i will be putting new door trims in, thanx for your help, so there isnt anyway to mount the power window switches to a AU console?

another question, the plastic near the glovebox and surround for H/U the ones under the crashpad how the hell do i get them off?

theres not really any space for them to go like their is on the E series centre consoles.
