as some of u probably already know, my car has been water damaged on the inside (and engine). but atm i am trying to take my centre console out.. ive taken both seats out, arm rest thing, cup holders, those funny banana shaped plastics and tissue box. ive taken all the screws out i can find and it really moves around alot, but it just doesnt come out..
is there anything i should be looking for?? any hidden screws?? any clips??
am tryna get this done asap as there is still water underneath the carpet and is starting to smell a bit.
cheers
alex

If it's so bloody urgent go and spend $40 on a service manual.

Search for an online version in PDF format.

which i have already done! but doesnt tell you how to completely remove the whole interior of the car.... i have a loan for 17k on it, which i cant pay because i aint working (and finding it very f**k hard to find a job atm, have applied for over 140 jobs) cant afford to pay insurance on it, hence the fact i am tryna fix it. dont have any money to buy anything for my car eg. tools and filters and all the things i need. so im tryna do the best i can with what i have, one of those things being this forum. with alot of people that are willing to help and put up with my harrasment because they understand the kind of situation i am in. and then theres other people that dont even answe the question or give some advice on the situation, they just tell me to stop posting as not urgent... when it clearly is quite f**k URGENT! as if i leave the carpet soaked it is going to mouldy and be s**t. and im guna have to buy a new one.... with my massive cash flow that ive got coming in...
so sorry if im pissing someone off bye posting urgent in the title and trying to attract some HELPFUL attention........

mate, look in the glove box, pull up the carpet in the bottom, there are 2 rubber clasps that you need to wedge across, provided you've pulled out all the other screws including the handbrake you'll be right..

but yeah, over reactions don't usually get the desired result, learn to roll with the punches..

I don't know about Western Australia but in other states we don't usually go off like a train on a track. Maybe you lack some politeness?

My suggestion, Tone it down before you get noticed..

am i the only one being impolite?

how is that being polite? why is it such a big deal if its marked urgent, and why does it have to be rectified in an impolite way if someone isnt happy with it?
i will take critisism and use it to my advantage, but an outrageous comment! come on, seriously!!!

1) no need for remarks like this.

2) Manual mate

3) start removing panels and USE YOUR f**k BRAIN and remeber what goes where. Like how hard is it to start unscrewing a few screws and making sure you remember or mark them accordingly.

So Water Damage what kind of damage, was it stuck in a flood longer then 12 hours? how much water? details cause I can not honestly be f**k searching and reading.

As stated, you can get the service manual online for $0.00 (Unemployed price) I suggest you do it. URGENT!

So ok, I added a bit of fuel to the fire, but seriously? To remove an interior, for the most part once the dash face is off and the seats are out, the rest is clearly visable as to how to take out. maybe, just maybe, explain what you have done so far, then people may be somewhat more compelled to assist you in your situation.

Don't just yell fire, explain exaclty where you are at. removal of a BF interor is not a 3 sentance answer, it is somewhat involved. not difficult, just involved.

Easiest way is with scissors and pliers BTW.

yeah I know I could have been more helpful, but after the above hissy fit, CBF

I did explain exactly where i was up to, and i do have a manual (gregorys) but like i said before it doesnt say how to completely remove the interior, thats why i asked you guys for help. i also didnt want to break a clip or a fascia (knowing fords quality plastics), so when i got to the point where i couldnt go any further, and had really looked around for any more screws (and still wasnt budging) i thought my next best option would be to come on here. i was pretty stressed out as im sure u could understand, so i really wasnt after that sort of comment lol.
P.S
this isnt a smart a** attack/remark, just an explanation.

Mate as said before i reckon you should try arrange for some members to come over and give you a hand and you will be up and running hopefully alot quicker.
A few beers and a BBQ is a good payment usually. Many members on here also have B series falcons now and would have great advice to help ya do it.

If it were me id post a thread asking for a hand with B series falcon interior removal. Free BBQ and beer. Watch the boys start rolling up. But...... Be nice :P
