Hey,

I have a 1995 EF Futura. I would like to do the door handle lights mod. Could i tap into the power window cables (neg and pos) to power the led in each door? (Front Only)

Cheers

No. There is no power to the motors until a switch is pressed.

I think you can use the power wire to the door lock motor, as that is a constant 12v, its just the ground that is switched.

Hook one side of the LED into that and ground the other side onto the door frame somewhere.

Yeah, use the yellow wire that changes to red on the door lock actuator loom.
You'll need to run an earth wire back through the door loom conduit to splice to the courtesy light switch wire.
