I have a EL wagon here. I bought a sedan fuel/boot switch for the purposes of rewiring the boot switch to an indash mounted garage door opener.

Anyway, I noticed that when I plugged it into the dash wiring and pressed it, it sounded like some solenoid somewhere was doing something.
Where do the boot wires lead in the wagon? any way I can hook into them instead of using my own custom wiring?

Also, if I were to get a sedan keyfob would the boot release button work/do the same thing as the dash button is currently doing? I'd love to be able to remotely open/close my garage from my keyring (unless the boot release will also trigger the smartlock...)
