My C/C has developed a vacumn leak which is audible in the cabin.

I have isolated it to the turquoise vac line from the vac control solenoid module in the passenger footwell.

If I pull that line off the solenoid and block off the outlet at the solenoid, everything seems to still work fine. (all venting/outlets are controllable and the heater tap still opens. Outside v recirc still works ok too).

Is there anything that I need to be aware of before blocking this outlet off to remove the vacumn leak?

Can anyone tell me what the turquoise vac line does?

Cheers,

The turquois line goes to the water tap it usually comes off the tap and can be refitted with a piece of vacuum hose (rubber) 8-) :D if left off or disconnected the HEATER TAP stays ON

Is it any great drama if the heater tap stays open?

It seems that the blend door motor still does its thing, cos when I want it cold it goes cold, and when I want it hot it is still hot.

Don't want to do any long term damage is all.

Cheers,
