Gday all. Recently ive added a new sound system to my au xr ute. When hiding wiring under the floor carpet on the passenger side i found that the underlay of the carpet was rather wet.
Thought at first that coolant may be leaking from the heater/aircon but after a few tests of pulling up the carpet and leaving the heater on, no leaks. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what may be causing the problem? Cheers! |

Do you leave your windows open to fog up like a bastard at night?
Have you checked the drain plug for the AC?

There is a problem with the au that people have spoken about within the forum,Within the front plenum below the windscreen.

Found today that the inside/underside of the seal around the drivers door is wet? Will replacing this be a possible fix it? Visually the seal looks OK?
or I was wondering if the water is leaking from under the windscreen down into the door seal, then under down seat and pooling down the back. In any case, while I look at fixing the leak is it worth it pulling up all the carpet and replacing the underlay or just leave it to dry? If it underlay drys OK i don't mind just leaving it rather than pulling up the all seats, console, carpet, etc,etc..
