Hi all,

Most of my external lights are LED's now and as a result my indicators flash very quickly...

I want to pick up a flasher relay that doesn't rely on load to determine flash speed but rather uses a fixed timer...

Do EL's use a typical 3 pin flasher relay?

Trying to work out which one of these I need:

http://shop.ebay.com.au/LED%20flasher%2 ... SRCHX:SRCH

I could use resisters to up the load, but negates one of the purposes of using LED's in the first place which is to reduce the power load.

regards

Frank

Check out Jaycar/d**k Smith, etc - they should have electronic flashers for LED's also. The Ebay postage seems a bit much for a small item like a flasher - maybe the envelopes are gold lined ?? 8-), the shop bought item might be similar in price - might be the better option in case you need to return it.
They are a 3 pin setup - pull the one out in your car and have a look.
