Which series (I, II or III) T-series were the white dials or clusters fitted? I would like to fit a genuine one to a series I fairmont but want to make sure of two things - the display is the orange one (so if only series II/III i'm stuffed) and that the speedo dial, which would then go to 240km/h (fairmont is 22km/h), will still show the correct speed. I suppose the question here is does the cluster have it's own needle calibration?

if u fit the entire cluster i feel the speedo shouldnt be an issue, and u could fit LED's to the rest of the car so it all matches. IIRC T-series was only series II and III wasnt it?

T1 and T2 had white, T3 had blue. If you track a genuine T series cluster down it won't be cheap. If you have an AU1 fairmont, my understanding is, only an AU1 cluster will go in an AU1. However AU2 are interchangeable with AU3.
