Wasn't sure where to post this, so i decided here lol.
Anyways, i just bought myself a '96 EF Fairmont, it has a few minor issues such as the rear left window slowly slides its way down (power windows btw). I have a little wedge for now holding it up but am keen to get it working right. I'm planning on having a look/fixing it tomorrow (Saturday) but thought a few people here might know the cause and the best way to fix it. If anyone could give me a few tips etc that would be great. Cheers, Chad.

Sounds like the window reg cable has snapped. You need to get a new window reg from the wreckers. This includes the electric motor winder and mechanism.

You will probably find the window regulator is riveted to the door unless its been replaced before.
