Was just wondering how much it usually costs and how dark can I go?

Best bet to go to a car tinting place for a quote.
Try this

But a good idea is to remove the old tint yourself if you can as they WILL charge too much (in my opinion) to remove it for you. I found the best way is to use on of those plug in steamer things you can buy for cleaning BBQ's, showers etc. Just let the steam and heat get under the old tint and it peels away no prob.
