I'm wondering what looms an EF Gli (Series 2) comes with - if any - for equipment that's not fitted?
- ie. Electric windows, Trip computer, Cruise control?

You won't have electric windows. Even Futura's and XR that only have front windows will only have the wires for the front windows (I had to run the extra wiring on my futura to get the rear power windows). You will have wiring for a clock, bot aa trip computer (but to get the TC working, you only need to add 1 wire to the clock plug) and If you have ABS, you should have wiring for cruise control (ABS and Cruise control used the 1 loom).

Cruise or ABS means you should have a high series bonnet loom, so wiring for the climate control ambient sensor, low coolant sensor and washer bottle level sensor should be there too. However the Low coolant and climate sensor wiring will not be in the dash loom, will end where they connect.
You will probably also have connectors for the wagon rear wiper, and aerial height switch. Not sure how much of the wiring for them is in the loom though. Not a useful amount I imagine. Clock will plug straight in, TC needs another wire as mentioned. |
