Well after re fitting my rear bar last night I went for a quick drive up and down the street, I parked the car in the drive way was heading to get out buy for some reason I pressed the door lock button ( button under the heater/ac controls) and nothing happened at all. Then I pressed the button on my remote and it didn't lock it just flashed the hazards twice and then made some funny alarm sort of sound (like a stutter) from under the bonnet. Now the only thing that I touched electrical wise is I cut the trailer plug and just tapped it up. Could that be the issue?? I need help ASAP the bastard wont lock and I need it for work.....

My mate cut it and taped it so I'm not sure. Will have to take it off again I reckon. And check. Could that be a problem thought??
