Anyone come up with any decent alternative options to the woodgrain door trim spears? I'm not a fan of woodgrain, personally I think it's very outdated. But I do like the idea of having the spears on the door trims. Anyone painted there's?
Alternatively, I saw Dash Design International ( http://www.dashdesign.com.au/ )were selling some replacement ones on eBay, they're offering to make replacement ones in carbon fibre for $330.00. Pretty expensive though.
Is there some place that dips/paints/applies some sort of coating on items to give it a carbon fibre look? Pretty sure I've seen members on here whove had dash items done.

Benj has painted his door spears and his dash spear black, and it looks very good, a few other have done it, but i can't remember who. if you look in benj's thread, you see it.

You can buy the gear to carbon fibre stuff yourself, i have done this and it came up well. I did some dash parts and s**t out of it. I think i bought the gear from a specialist auto refinisher supplier.
