Hey all,

I just picked up a 75 XB falcon with the 250.
but i have come across some of that oh so lucky rust.
but i wanna get those damn bench seats out so that i can get the floor pans fixed.
wots the trick, does anyone know, because i cant see the bolts for the front bench. and dont even know where to begin for the rear.
help

look under the floor pan outside the car thats where they are on my xb coupe when i get off this mine i'll have a look in my workshop manual for ya

Yeh the bolts are under the car, they are a real pain in the butt coz if they anything like my old girl they were bent from being driven out bush and covered in dirt and crud and real hard to undo.
I ended up cutting them off and getting new ones.

The back seat is a bit weird its a clip under the seat that i used to use a long screwdriver to pry it up while pushing the seat backwards, kind of hard to explain but if you get a torch and lift the seat and try to look under you can see the setup and how it works.

Yes the bolts are under the floor and the top ot the bolts are held by mild steel caps that always broke so you ues ajustable spaner as they are square tops.

The rear seat you have to remove the top of the back seat first by takeing out the two bolts near the centre of each side and then you push it up. the lower seat lift up at the rear and it comes out easy.
