just take the bulb out of the cluster - its no good anyways, as you don't have the sensor for it to know when to light up!
sounds like you need to fill your coolant up too... if its at the bottom of the overflow tank

OK, sounds like you got a new cluster with the coolant bulb installed. Take the bulb out, or if you don't want to/cant do that for whatever reason, put a 180 ohm resistor between the relevant pin on the cluster (see the doco section on installing a sensor) and ground. Short or open cct will make it flash - I guess its a safety feature.

okay it was another fuse blowin...
everything is good :D:D clutch is fixed, man its f**k to drive, so so weird its not heavy at all, its like theres no clutch :S and the friction point is very small.... very weird from a slipping clutch to xr6 one..... is there something i should look for in a fuse to see if it blowin? like burnt/black on inside.... or what? gunna check other fuses see if they're gone too

you should see the wire in the middle is broken/blackened - if unsure, just replace it anyways. they cost sweet FA, so its better to be safe than sorry.

if you're really worried, even grab a pack of each of the diff types of fuses & change them ALL - it can't hurt, and then at least you know that they're all a-ok

is the issue the low coolant sensor?
the fact its a futura cluster means it would have the bulb in it, as the futuras had the wiring for the low coolant sensor. the gli's however, had no coolant sensor, so they may have not come fitted with a bulb - as the fact that its now got a bulb but is not recieving a correct signal may make it be flashing - hence why it might not be the fuses at all, but the only option may to be a) remove the bulb or b) instal the low coolant sensor!

na thats not it.... i think some one already said that to me (may have been you?)
the cluster lights wernt working, along with my driving lights, parkers... but yeh i changed that fuse aswell and they work *thrusts pelvis*

so the clusters all working fine then? the fuses are just a check to ensure its all working ok?
