Good day all,

Trying to find out if anyone knows of a XF Falcon conversion to a Ghia interior and also the mod that was done to drop the wall straight down in the Falcon ute and also the installation of long range tanks in a ute?

Yep i'm going to try to reinvent a XF Fairmont Ghia ute with long range tanks!

Any help greatly accepted.

Thanks

The Ghia seats and door trims will fit, with the Ghia door trims you have to get the bracket for the door speaker from a Ghia door and bolt it onto your doors .

The dash if you unbolt your dash the Ghia one will bolt in with no problems, just its a bit of work doing it as there is allot more vac tubes behind the dash you have to make sure you re connect up as its easy to have one get split or come lose when you stick it back in.

i did a similar conversion to a VJ val many years ago, now that was fun.

Maybe the best option for a factory setup may be the XG/XH outback dual tank setup - although they may be hard to find at any wreckers - main tank is 68L, 2nd tank is 58L, it's also nicely positioned under the tray floor.
Sender resistances may need to be modified to suit XF fuel guage.

6/6.5" speakers can be fitted to XF doors - big improvement over the 4" units: http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=51222
