I work in an auto parts store and recently sold a customer a boss kit for an XG ute, he brought it back claiming when fitted it was that tight against the plastic shroud and mech he couldn't turn the wheel properly, now i have the same boss fitted to my XG not a problem, but here is the issue i think, his ute is a column auto, mine is t-bar, none of the suppliers for boss kits could give me an answer, but is there a difference in the column between the column shift and t-bar??? i'm thinking the column shift might be bulkier thats why it interferes with the boss so it cant be pulled up tight.? can anyone shed any light on this or confirm this????? Thanks heaps.
