hi guys can anyone tell me if a sas or autecnica steering wheel will fit to the xr6 boss or am i going to need to get a boss to fit a sportd wheel on . cheers

I think he means a boss that takes the steering wheel and yes, you WILL need a boss to fit whatever after market wheel you buy.

Yeah but it still doesnt make sense to me because he says will it fit to an XR6 boss or will he have to get a boss to fit his wheel on. What the hell is an XR6 Boss? Does he mean the standard steering shaft?

maybe didn't the momo wheels still use a boss setup? or maybe he thins all, most wheels use a removeable boss, or maybe I sould stop my strnge ramblings try and sleep and let him explain for himself. :lol:

Yes the momo wheels did use a boss kit but I think the holes are offset compared to the saas and autotechnica ones. Some boss kits are multifit but not sure if that helps.

XR wheels use like a sports steering wheel boss kit. they are held on by 6 allen key bolts

sorry if i confued some of you guys . i have an ed xr6 with a momo wheel . my question is can i fit a sports wheel to the momo steering wheel boss . thanks for the feed back on it guys .

as I stated earlier I believe momo used a different screw pattern to saas etc. I think the wheel will screw on but will not be straight.

wouldnt the ed xr have an airbag? in which case you cant put a non airbag wheel on it

what ED wheel would even be big enough to contain an airbag?
