Hi all,
I have a BA-XT that I would like to fit a BA-XR6 dash into.
Other than the dash, what other parts might I need to purchase ?
Thanks to any who may be able to help.
Cheers, David

If I've understood your post, you wish to convert an XT dash to XR. This would just be a matter of changing the cluster and ICC over. There are heaps of posts and technical documents here already on doing both these steps.

Nothing needs to be done. Just make sure you get a low series XR cluster not a high series one. Also if you want to keep your original mileage on the cluster you'll need a brand new XR cluster. The mileage on them can be changed to anything as long as its travelled less then 100kms and you can only do it three times - from memory anyway, the exact kms might be a bit different but its something like that.

 Thanks for all the info guys!
I think for what is gained (XR on dash & blue light) compared to what has to be done, I might just leave it at this stage.
I'm 90k's from closest Ford dealer if I needed help!
Plenty of Other things to do to the BA.

Yep, there's nothing hard here. I say go for it, makes the interior of a bland XT look AWESOME at night time.

Cluster removal is simply 3 screws on the top, and two on the bottom (just behind the steering wheel). Plenty of threads on it in this forum. Takes about 10 minutes to remove and replace. Putting in a nice FPV or XR cluster looks awesome in a base model XT.

As for ICC, this is a bit more work, but doesn't take more than about 30 minutes or so. In addition, it's a plug and play upgrade provided you just swap your BEMs over.
