Hi guys,

Now that I've got the 5.0 running well in the wagon on petrol, I really want to look into getting it back on LPG.
All the old lpg looms are gone because I couldn't be forked dewiring it from the I6 loom and risk wrecking the V8 loom reinstalling it. I did leave the wires running back to the tank tho.
I will be rebuilding another 5.0 & auto to replace the current ones, after xmas. This 5.0 will be for dedicated lpg and be more for torque and daily driving than out right power.

What kind of gas system would you lot recommend? I'm not too keen on the old mixer ring set-up and I would love a direct injection system but I don't think I can afford that.
What do the factory Ba's use?
Can I adapt a landrover V8 injection set-up to my V8??

Maybe there is someone out there with a LPG kit for sale??

Thanks

Next best thing to injection is either a GRA setup or an Impco 425 setup.

Cheers

Well I'll be!!! I never would have thought of that.
I can see how to get that done, so now my question is:
What is a reliable LPG vapour system for my V8? It will be straight LPG and I will be rebuilding a AUIII 5.0 with alloys and a gas cam early next year.

Thoughts???

Personally I don't see the point of straight gas as if u have any LPG issues u can simply switch to petrol and away u go, and like wise with petrol issue.

Also to run straight LPG with a VSI setup u will have to run a profire ecu so the conversion cost increases alot so stick to basic's.

I want either straight gas or straight petrol
Otherwise, if I run a duel set-up, I only get 2 half tanks and reduced distance I can travel on a tank.
I don't want a petrol system on my wagon, just-in-case something happens.
Its my daily work car and I cover some Ks each year so I want to run straight LPG because I can get the same performance on under half the price of petrol.
