analogue gauge for gas tank?

And if i switch from there it will stop my battery slowly draining as it has no power without ignition, correct? As my understanding of the fact that the circuit diagram going to the ignition was so that it didnt have constant power i just thought it odd that it went through the ignition as a switch or is this pretty normal to see?

It will be off when the key is off, but on at ACC and run.

After connecting everything up ive discovered my sender is stuffed so off to the wreckers tommorow to get one off my old car will post up some pics when its all done

Ok that was just the price for it on bluelpg.com but the wreckers near my place has heaps of cars with gas conversions so i might find one there

Alright went to my local wreckers and visited my old ed fairmont and the sender just happened to be the same so the bloke gave it to me for free seen as he scored a tank of 98 out of the car when i wrote it off 5 minutes after filling it up i now have a working dial gauge and a working led gauge, thanks for all the help will post up a pic in the next couple of hours

Alright that one worked so here is my lpg gauge mounted and working and one switch for the back light and one switch to turn the gauge on coz this was the easiest way to do it, didnt have to take any panels off this way not 100% sure on the sender i got from my old car think it might be on its way out but its working for the moment and considering i paid nothing for it its worth it
