can any one give me any info on the BA Mk2 6cyl with the dedicated Gas engine. I have recently bought one as a work vehicle and want to know things to watch out for etc. minor power upgrades wouldnt go astray either.

dodgy fuel guages, thats the only common one i know with Dedicated gas.

The gauge senders always were an issue ... alsthough 9 times out of 10 it is due to dodgy connections on them ... unplug and clean them out and they work for a while .. saves forking out $140-odd per sender.

you cna get the odd bad batch of LPG with oily/waxy substance in it ... this can clog up the idle jet and solenoid plungers ... causing hard starting most of the time.

Solenoids can crack over time and fail as well.

Make sure you replace your spark plugs on a regular basis ... clean spark is a must ... and hope your coils last you a while as well (as forking out for 6 of them isn't cheap) ... have seen the effects of a dead coil .... it ends up with a destroyed intake. Backfire City.

Other than that ... mods are the same as you would do to a petrol vehicle pretty much.
