As it 2004 model you are looking at LPG injection system with price around 4.5k installed.

Sorry to hijack, but I've been thinking about converting my 5.4L 3v ghia to gas as well, until a fitter sort of talked me out of it. Saying the biggest tank you could fit in a sedan was 50L, and his 6cyl colleague was refueling twice a week.
Anyone have experience with a 5.4L v8 sedan on gas? |

No but I have a BF I6 on SVI gas with the 50L usable tank and that gets me 350Ks around town, by comparison around 400Ks on 66L usable in the previous EL.

Friend of mine just converted his BA LTD to LPG. Yes, donate tank is 50L, standard one (under shelf) about 45L. Driving 5,4L on petrol much more expensive than on gas in any case…

You guys should check out this website as they provide in my oppinion the best VSI systems and also sole distributor of the JTG liquid injection system. U will find all info on systems and search for local installers.

Hey mate I have the missus Ba G220 Fairlane on injected gas I think it is a 45l tank never cost more than 25 to fill it and she gets around 400-450ks to a tank. I would highly recommend it, its the best thing.

WTF is with these 50L tanks?
My eb2 has an 80L usable tank in the boot and it only takes up that little back-area (still got heaps of room for subs+amps+etc). And I know it's that big because I've run it near empty a couple times and been able to fill 78L into it once (and it wasn't 100% empty cos I was still driving to servo on lpg)

I've got a 68 useable in the boot, i thought that was the standard size falcon tank that goes behind the boot.
The spare wheel tanks are smaller as they have to sit in the spare wheel compartment. Cheers ToranaGuy

I am quite happy with the 50L, good milage means I fill no more often than before, I have more boot space than I had with the EL and I have the factory Sub in without a spacer.

Get an Egas tank setup.... 93 litres usable.... but you will have to ditch the towbar and do some mods to the floorpan

When i was doing 1000km a week, i found i was refueling 2 or 3 times depending on driving conditions. I would have been doing that on petrol (at a lot more expense)anyway. Cheers ToranaGuy
