As the title says, I am considering converting my Falcon to LPG, although many questions arise.
Does performance drop on gas? Do the BAs convert easily? Best system to use? Best tank size? I do currently about 500ks a week. I look forward to all the comments.

This is from a firm in my area. They seem highly credentialed. Opinions?

Which cost me about $30 on average. I've towed car floats with Falcons on the float and LPG towed with ease. Honestly would recommend it to anyone!! what system have u got on your BA?

Hey Mate,
I have a BA Fairmont V8 running on LPG and before that i had an AU 6cyl running on LPG. Now on my Fairmont i have multipoint injection and on my AU i had the vapour system. Vapour system isnt the best but is cheaper by about 1700, and you'll probably pay $300 after the rebates. The problem with vapour is this 1. Very noticable loss in power 2. Prone to backfiring 3. Starting the car is a pain cuz when it switched to gas it almost stalls 4. When switching to gas you can notice it splutters and sometimes stalls. Injection system is the way to go if you want the best performance I have it on my fairmont at the moment and it just runs like a dream. 1. No Backfiring! 2. Hardly Noticable loss in performance about 3% i think 3. when switching to gas and petrol you'll be wondering if its actually doing anything because its sooooo dam smooth. 4 More economical than the Vapour System. I had a tank in the wheel well in my AU and while it give you boot room it also means you have an ugly tyre sittin there. Then i got the normal tank behind the back seat in the fairmont and that's not too bad. It still gives plenty of boot room in the BA but its hard to put subs in there now. So theres pros and cons for both. Just depends on the person really. Both have a capicity of 50L. I had both mine done at GasPower Australia.

hi there guys i have an AU series 2 wagon with the vapour injection system, with my current mods extractors, Magnum 2.5"hiflow cat, and 2.5"inch red back exhaust....
travelling back from south australia over the last easter break i clocked 552 Kilometres to the donut tank under my wagon. Cost me $31 dollars to refill when i eventually stopped in melb. LPG saves me lots of money.
