I have read about a lot gas with Direct, vapour, dual systems and I beleive i want ot go down the Direct injected system.

Now I had read that BA's with not a factory system fitted will run s**t and are not even worth it because of the slectics and the ECU going into spastic modes. Then I read the the IRS will not allow a tank to go under car.

Can they if possible put the tank where the fuel one currently is?

Also what are the prices for a Direct Injected system roughly?

And is it really worth doing to a BA?

Thanks Jamie

i've long been a cynic of converting petrol BA's to gas, but after talking to our gas specialist we send alot of work to ive decided that the LPG Injection setups are ok. old style LPG setups cause BA's to run like a hairy goat and nothing can be done about that, but the new LPG injection setups seem ot be good. no power loss, similar fuel economy etc,

also not possibly to install where fuel tank is because it sits around the IRS subframe. Needs to go in boot

Injected setup works well on the BA.

My cousin just had his BA done and he's wrapped in it.

You're looking around $3500 though.

There was a guy on here somewhere that got his XR6T done and he ended up having more power after the installation.

this is what i found, but thats all ,ive heard the more power thing too...

Hi Folks,

I am a regular visitor to AFF and noticed a link there one day to this site.

I recently leased a 2005 BA MKII XR6T and had the an injected LPG system fitted by APS in Melbourne. The technical man behind the LPG set up was Hilbert Klaster who has been in the LPG industry for some time.

I can tell you the car makes more power on LPG than on petrol.

I am picking the car up tomorrow (in Sydney) and will be happy to post some pictures when I get it home.

I googled for XR6T on LPG and there was some old threads here from this site. I though some of those people might like to know it has happened.
