G'Day
Have a 2005 BA XR6 ute - just had the gas serviced and re tuned and a small gas leak fixed under the hood, however, they still havent fixed the car stalling at low revs. When running on Gas, the car will slow down and as I am half way through a turn, the car will stall - on the odd occasion it will flick back to fuel. Then it continues to do it until the next day or I switch it back to fuel. It doesnt do anything like this on fuel at all only LPG - any thoughts?? Cheers Dan |

Hey - tis direct injected and it is a Viper System (90% sure) - I have had it tuned at two different places in different towns and still have the same issue - I have tried starting it on fuel and running it for 10 mins or so and then flicking it over, but no luck - the thing is, its doesnt happen everytime - it happens more often when you have low revs and turn into a drive way - its almost like with the gas running and the extrra draw put on the engine with the steering wheel turning it doesnt have enough power and just dies - it did use to just flick back to LPG but now its stalling more then flicking to fuel.....
It also has, on occasion, stalled or flicked between LPG and fuel, during the gear change of D - R (automatic) - once again when the revs are low....... |
