Just picked mine up yesterday it is an OMVL type, Seems to run great. The bloke is very help full comes with a 3 year warranty did it the same day dropped it off in the morning picked it up at night. Told me if i have any problems bring it back or if it is getting s**t economy he will re-tune it best part is it only cost me 2350 so 350 after rebate (will prob get it cheaper for a sedan i got my wagon done with the tank in the spare wheel well). The joint is called Albion Gas Conversions. Will let you know how far i get out of a full tank if you like.

Ok just went through a tank today i got 405ks out of it, cost around 40 to fill it and he said that the first tank wont be that good on gas. and i wasnt taking it easy so i dont think that is to bad that works out to be around 10 buck per 100ks. :)

the difference between omvl and impco is fairly major

omvl has a mixer ring and complex convertor

impco has a proper propane "carby" with a simple converter

I personally have impco stuff on my current and past cars....ive gotten to know this system fairly well and think it aint bad...

the advantage i see is that impco style convertors are much cheaper than omvl is it ever needs replacing...the only thing i dont like is that on my EF the mixer setup isnt that compact but on an ED it is very well packaged

in terms of power im not sure what would flow better, the simple ring or complex mixer?
