Hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone has had any great experience with lpg fitters in Victoria?

Im looking to fit another falcon to gas and i was wanting to know what is the best kit (or maybe to specifiy a particular brand of mixer etc).

I want the most economical experience possible, so :)

Ive had an Impco kit on my late 98 falcon and was getting 430-480km's per 68Litres, sometimes 520.

Ive heard good things about the OMVL systems as they require infrequent tuning.
I heard Impco are the best, thats why i used them the first time.

Any tips ?
Thanks

Bump.
I too am looking for advice re good gas fitters in the west.
I am going to gas up the Territory so I want the best available. I dont want to skimp on anything for the $50G Terry Ghia.
The other car is an Ef Fairmont. I am happy to pay the extra for injection as I am tired of the ordinary performance from the old vaccuum set up on my Ef classic. It still works ok but is very tired after 360000klm.

a friend of mine got a kit installed a couple of years ago through a place on mcintyre rd sunshine....there are a couple on that road but the one i talking about is up the end closer to mayday spares....

is run by some asian guy, and i think the name might be a bit asian sounding....

seemed ok to me and were cheap at the time

you could try there

Hey Rick the place in Oakleigh that i am talking about in the other thread is a very highly regarded lpg fitter and i had a fantastic experience with my other EL falcon.

I live in Bendigo Victoria and i am dropping the car off to Oakleigh to get the gas done, its a 2hour drive, lol.

I know they are good and i have heard so many horror stories of engine problems etc that i think its worth it :)

It you want mate, let me know what sort of kit you are after and i can ring up and get a price for you and myself and as there are two of us we may get a hundred dollars off each or so :)

I have never been that happy with any work done on my system since I had it. I have done better tuning myself.

Talk to the guys, you'll knock $100 off to get an impco system for $2,700 fitted. I only know of Regent st and i heard the guys in Kyneton are good too, all of which are booked out til Mid Sept. :( but it will be worth it :P
