I am going thru the same issues, i am planning on converting my EF v8 Fairmont to gas injection. In WA the rebate is $3k so for 1-1.5k it is worth it when you consider the performance benefits. Donut tanks are not cheap, and they hold a small volume. I currently drive an EA with 2 tanks (150L gets about 1000kms), i have no boot space (can just squeeze a swag in the back) and it is fantastic not filling up for a month! Also the EF has quite a good space for the tank behind the seat, i think i will just put up with having a smaller (still large) boot, for the sake of not filling up often and paying a lot more.

I have not done any research on prices etc at the moment, but i look forward to driving a car on gas that behaves as an injected petrol car.

I will have a big sound system in my car also, subwoofers take up enough space on their own, thats why I was after a donut tank.

I don't really care that they hold less, I would sacrifice some capacity for the ability to have it out of view.

Anyone else have donut tanks? How do they fit?

Cheers

Doughnut tanks are around you just have to search. I have seen a few at ballarat swap meet (november). A re-test is about $170.
