So main advantage seems to be at or below about 70kph. My theory is that maybe i still don't have enough hho for faster speeds. Possibly need different tuning for hwy? (have seen that mentioned on the efie sites) Any ideas? *COUGH* Garth, Have you tried the Cardy Enhancer yet with your current system?? *COUGH* Have fun. No not yet but have got some of the parts ready, - just need the adjuster, probably have to make one.

And no haven't got to any other projects yet.

here is a pic of intake snorkel where gas is injected. like i said just a bit of copper pipe welded into top of snorkel.
Working on moving it closer to top of carby, will know if that makes any difference soon. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hey Garthr
I was searching google and found your posts on this forum so i decided to sign up and have a chat! I am in the process of building a HHO system, i but going into a highly modified turbocharged car which outputs around 500 horse power at the rear wheels. Your video's are good, its good to see your not scared to show your face like everyone else. How big are the plates you are using ? i have gone smaller plates for my setup with the smaller PVC pipes. Might go buy some 100mm stuff now i think. I was wondering what would happen if you produce enough GAS to be able to switch off your fuel pump! (nice to dream) Anyway keep up the good work! |

i forgot to mention garthr, i have a Wide band air fuel ratio meter plugged into my car full time, (the expensive accurate ones that cost around $1000aud) I am working on getting a EGT sensor (exaust gas) but i dont think i will for a while yet.
Normally a car runs stoich at 14.7 and richens up when you accelerate, i have tuned mine to run as close to 14.7 at ALL times and its not as smooth as running richer. I think that with this system on my car i will be able to run it on at least 15.7 to 17 Air fuel ratio without heating the cyl's up too much and causing the engine to run like a pig. I have an aftermarket engine management system so i can program with my laptop the fuel and ignition maps. So i have 800 points that is tuneable to get the car to run the best i can. I guess time will tell when i get the system built, i think i have everything i need now. cant wait |

Hey mate
I built the cell, but i cannot for the life of me seal up the PVC pipe, i saw in your video you had some rubber in there, where did you get it from? how did you seal it? Do you have any tricks i can try ? Cheers garthr wrote: have moved gas input hose to immediately above carby, here is another pic.

Cheers the rubber washers are there more as spacers than anything else, ( they were meant to be seals originally but didn't work.) i just put silicone around the screw before it goes through the pipe and that seems to work best.

if it is the 90mm storm water pipe they sell rubber gaskets for them at same places that sell the lids. still tricky though if u over-tighten them the gasket squeezes inside also. The 100mm sewer pipe lids are much better in that respect.

i put some copper sealant around the inside of the lid and it sealed it ok
I over heated one of my cells and the pvc piping twisted and distorted... it was getting hot, the new one is ok now.. used less electrolite |
