Hi all
got a eb 4.0 and i,m looking to put it on gas .been looking at injection setup verse gas carb. i've been told if i go the carb i can get rid of the ecu and not have a problem with it . i would prefere the injection setup but would this mess with the ecu ?. also i,m looking to put the tank under the car as the pervious owner boxed out the boot with subs. any info on this would be great

P.S. doing a manual convo on it as well :D

Is your car a wagon?? cause i couldn't put the tanks under my sedan, i had to lose my subs. :( everyone i talked to about going straight gas said don't bother, go both. but the balls in your court.

hi sorry for the long wait on the reply ( been on a holiday ) . it's a sedan and yes i've been told the same thing about the tank. i,ve been looking at a gas tank called G84 manifold , basiclly 3 small tanks connected together as one . found the information out on the APA site ( www. apaind.com.au ) it looks to be the one they use in s/wagons but i think that with some new brackets it would fit under the car with minimal mods done to the car. the bad thing about it is that it only holds 60 liters of gas

Good luck finding the manifold tanks (i've heard them called "scuba" tanks).
I wanted one when I converted over to gas, and no-one could find them, and worse, I was told they were not being manufactured anymore.
Some LPG installers talked about these at the quote stage, but when push came to shove and they had to GET one, they all failed.

In the end, I put a 64litre round tank underneath my wagon, and went straight gas, and have never looked back.
I didn't want the tank in the boot, as this would loose too much space.
