hi guys

ok a few questions! I have a EF with a tickford LPG System. Now i know the balance pipe is stuffed because when i come up to a set of lights it goes to stall but then revs up but thats fine. the car gets about 300-330km out of a tank and i am wondering if anyone knows of any ways of getting more km's? My mate gets around 400-440km! i fitted a gas air mixture screw but not much difference! Anyhelp would be good

THanks

ok. So no one has any ideas on how to improve economy on the tickford systems? I am getting my balance pipe from ford they have designed a new aluminium one which hopefully should fix the car almost stalling when braking! and at $120 it better :P

There is not much that you can do to get better than 330ks per tank in them as they are designed to meet emmisions. They do things such as a periodic richen to save the cat convertor...

If you feel your driving style should be producing better then you can try the following.

Recalibration procedure - requires removing a jumper running a routine of idle and then 3000rpm for 30 seconds while the system calibrates.

Replacing the Stepper motor should the calibration fail.

Earthing the body of the O2 sensor to the earth that feeds the lock off valves.
