Ok, took the car to another mechanics, he ran it on the dyno and said that there was too much airpressure in the airbox so he drilled a big hole and said all would be fixed. The car lasted one day and has just conked out yet again. I really need to get some pictures of what to remove and check as in the stepper motor, cna anyone help me? Also, I have a new set of injectors and I need to know where the relay is for the fuel pump so that I can de pressurise the fuel system before I loosen off the fuel rail ( or at least that's how it was done the last time I changed injectors in a different car). Help,,,,,,Help;;;;;

To release the pressure in the rail, all i did was put some vac on the fuel regulator to let the pressure go.Or leave the car sit over night as the pressure will only last 20mins to a hour as there is always leakage over time etc.,

Great, thanks for the advice, I'll get them done on SAturday. I just spoke to yet another mechanic who has had experience with these Tickford systems and he's confident he can fix it but can't guarentee that it won't break down again... Would be easier to get a whole new system fitted....

Ratj just a thought, give some of the taxi companies a ring and ask who they use to service and repair their old taxi's. or if they service repair them themselves would they look at it, their mechanics should know just about every thing to do with tickford gas, like I said should know.

Thanks for the great idea, I'll do that. Couldn't be that hard to get the info required off them...
